The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) is for high school students in grades 10-12. In 1978, the National Art Education Association began the National Art Honor Society program to inspire and recognize students who have shown an outstanding ability and interest in art. Our purpose is to assist members in attaining the highest standards in art character and service, and raise awareness of art education in the school and community.
Member Requirements:
Open to 9-12 grade students who currently have a B or better average in an art class. Every member must participate in at least 3 community serve events held by NAHS each year. Students who do not meet these requirements will no longer be eligible for an honor cord.

Art Club
The Art Club consists of High School students who love the Arts and cannot seem to get enough of them throughout the school day. The club meets after school on a regular basis to hold meetings. We also volunteer for local organizations to promote the arts in various ways such as face painting, window painting, and arts advocacy. Our club members enjoy open studio nights where we enjoy each others fellowship and hone our artistic skills. The Art Club works very hard to fundraise as well so that we can take trips to broaden our artistic horizon beyond what is possible in the school setting.
